Hello 2012!

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought since it was a new year I had better get on the ball!

Well, 2011 is gone, but what a great year it was. We started a new church in January and really liked it. It was a very small church that was trying to get off the ground.
In February, Connor wowed us by saying all of his ABC's and counting to 10. He has learned so much by going to daycare/preschool.

In March, we actually had some warm weather and spent some time at the park.

April brought Easter! We colored eggs and dressed in our Sunday best for Easter service at church.

In May I celebrated my second Mother's day. Being a mom is the BEST!

June is a BUSY month for us! We celebrate Mike's birthday, my dad's birthday, father's day and our anniversary. This was our 8th wedding anniversary. We went to eat at a fancy restaurant in Abingdon called Rain. The food was really good! It was also the first time that Connor spent the night at someone else's house! He spent the night with Aunt Tammy and did really well!

July we celebrated the 4th of July with some sparklers in the back yard!  Connor loved them, but he didn't like the really loud ones that some of the neighbors felt necessary to set off. We also took Connor to see his first movie at the theater. We saw Cars 2. He made it thru part of the movie but not the whole thing. It was still fun.

August we spent lots of our time in our friends salt water pool! We love that pool. Can't wait to get back in it this Summer!

September was our BEACH VACATION! We rented a condo on the beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was really nice. Connor and I would wake up early and walk on the beach forever. He loves the beach!

October was the best! We celebrated Connor's 3rd birthday at the Farm! It was a really great party! We did a hayride around the farm and stopped at each of the animals to visit and pet them. There were horses, pigs, alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens and turkeys. The kids had and the adults had to much fun!

November, we went to North Carolina to have some family photos made with my brother and his family. We also drove to N.C. to celebrate Thanksgiving in my brother and sister-in-laws new house. So very proud of them.

And December.....visit to Santa with a child who was ready to run, Christmas party with some great friends, shopping, cooking, new wedding rings, new car and attending a new church (for a while) that we fell in love with.

God has blessed us with more than we deserve! It is going so well that we can't wait to see what good things 2012 has in store for us.

Happy New Year!
