...the wonderful Wizard of Oz!
Yes, it's true. We went to the Land of Oz and saw Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Lion and the Tinman.
We drove up to Beech Mountain, North Carolina and on the way there it started snowing! Yes, WHITE DEATH! We knew we were going to freeze our butts off, but we went anyways. We bundled ourselves up and headed out.
We toured Dorothy's house and went thru the "tornado" and came out the other side in a "crooked" house.

And we saw where the house had landed on the Wicked Witch of the West!
Yes, that SNOW!
Then we came upon the Scarecrow. He's my favorite!
And the Yellow Brick Road!
The Tinman was next...
And then the Lion...
This was near the end and we were freezing, tired and hungry.
We made our way back to the car and down the mountain to a hot meal. We had a great time even though we froze our butts off!
