Vacation!

We had an awesome time on our vacation to the beach.  

Connor was well behaved except for a few outbursts in the car, but who can blame a 2 year old for getting so bored sitting in a car, strapped in a car seat for 8 long hours! I was pretty tired of it too!

We left home Saturday morning and arrived in North Myrtle Beach around 3:30 p.m. We checked out our condo and then headed to the beach! We couldn't wait to show Connor the ocean. We weren't sure whether he would like it or not, but as soon as he saw the water, a big grin came across his face and he took off running towards it! We were so happy that he liked it so much! He even went barefoot, which is very unusual for our little man.

We walked back to the condo after spending some time at the beach and decided to find us some seafood for dinner. We ate a place called Bennette's. It was very good. We were all tired so we headed back to the condo and went to bed.

We woke up Sunday morning, went to breakfast at Denny's, then headed down to the beach! We had an awesome time. Connor absolutely loved it!

We had dinner at TGI Friday's and then bought Connor his 1st MB t-shirt!

Monday morning we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel then headed over to Alligator Adventure.  It's a place where they keep tons of alligators and a few other animals. Connor did ok, but wasn't as interested as I thought he would be so we went back to the condo for him to take a nap.

 We headed back to the beach Monday afternoon. Connor enjoyed playing in the water and the sand. It was a beautiful day!

We went to dinner at Carrabba's and it was delicious! After dinner we decided to let Connor have his 1st experience with Putt Putt. We knew he probably wouldn't get it, but that it would be fun. He got the concept that the ball had to go in the hole, but he kept picking it up and throwing it in the hole. Silly boy!

 

Tuesday morning rolled around and we packed up and headed home. 8 long hours later and we finally pulled into the driveway! It was a great trip! Can't wait to do it again next year!
