Me and My Boys: So much fun!

So far this weekend has been filled with adventure and lots of fun! We decided Friday evening that we would go see the Speedway in Lights at Bristol Motor Speedway. I had been a couple of times in the past, but it had been years and neither Mike or Connor had been so we loaded up and headed out. Connor was really excited because once we got there, he was allowed to sit on my lap up front. He was very excited...so excited that he kept trying to change gears for Daddy! He couldn't keep his hand off of it! I rolled down the window and that was when Connor really realized there was more to see than Mommies car dashboard lights. He was hanging out of the car window squealing to the top of his lungs at the lights. I think I missed half of the lights due to watching and laughing at him. We even got to drive on the track, which Mike thought was fun. I on the other hand did not like that so much! The track is banked so steep that it felt like we were going to roll over!

In the middle of the track they have a Christmas Village set up. They have a beautiful carousel, one like I had only seen on tv ( I really wish I had thought to get a picture of it :o( but it was lovely....We stood at watched it for a few minutes, but decided not to ride. It was getting pretty cold, so we figured we would go check out Santa since he was inside. There was nobody in line, so we walked right up to him. Connor never cried or squirmed he would just slowly turn his head to the side and look up at Santa. It was sweet and I was so glad that he didn't scream his head off!

It was almost 9 o'clock before we got home which is really late for Connor since he normally goes to bed around 7, but I think he really enjoyed himself and slept in until 8:30 this morning!

Today was a very pretty day here in Tennessee. Connor and I walked down to mamaw and papaw's house to play. We took Connor out onto the driveway to play with his walker. He had a blast and I got some great shots of him.
